NORDI is our contribution to health and wellness, through the sauna.

We've used the sauna for training and recovery for over a decade. It strengthened our bodies, settled our minds, and became a habit we don't skip.

It also came with a cost. High heat dried out our hair and scalp, and some days we couldn't stay in as long as we wanted. That's how we found sauna hats. We didn't find one we were proud to wear. Every one we ordered was thin, dyed, or blended with synthetics. None of them lasted.

So in November 2024 we set out to make the best sauna hat in the world. The one we wanted to wear ourselves.

Our search ended in Portugal, where felt hats have been made by hand for generations. We found Merino wool worth the name, and a small family-owned hatmaker willing to work with it undyed. Every NORDI sauna hat is made there, by hand, in small batches.

Raw Merino felt. No synthetics. No chemical finish. Nothing touches your skin that we wouldn't put on our own. It protects your hair and scalp, keeps your head cooler, and lets you stay in longer.

It's also a very good-looking hat, which matters.
